Weekend retreat at Oldland, Sussex.

This is a retreat for anyone that needs to relax and unwind. Naomi will be teaching soothing, flowing therapeutic vinyasa and David will be cooking heartening vegetarian feasts to renew and refresh. As ever the yoga will be suitable for all levels of practitioner so you can come with your new-to-yoga partners, your pregnant friend, your yoga teacher pal or your mum and know that they will all be looked after. The house is a stunning Georgian pile on the edge of Hassocks (a quick train from London Victoria or London Bridge) with a glorious garden and incredible views. Rooms are mostly shared, some are single. The retreat costs £395 per person or £350 pp if you're booking with a friend (or two). We will begin on the Friday night with a relaxing flow class 7-8.30pm followed by supper. There will be meditation and yoga throughout the weekend as well as plenty of time to rest, enjoy a massage or go for a walk across the Downs. It’s a stunning spot and there’s even an outdoor swimming pond for the super brave. If you have any questions please contact me or Yoga On The Lane.

A journey through the Koshas with Naomi Annand

In this workshop we will dive in to the mind-body network to explore ways of organising our inner landscape so that we might create a bit more stability and balance. The Koshas are the psychic layers of the bodies, which can be used as a road map allowing us to shift awareness form matter to breath to thought so that we can find stillness. The workshop will consist a long asana practice to get into the body, followed by Pranayama (breathing practices) to address the breath body and then mindful compassion based meditation to organise the mind. One these are in balance we will explore some deep relaxation tools and close with restorative yoga and guided relaxation.
